We are committed to offering multiple opportunities for people to play football at local pitches to minimise the need for travel and reduce carbon emissions. By encouraging players to participate at nearby venues, we aim to lower the reliance on cars and decrease petrol usage.

 

Sustainable travel

We encourage players and volunteers to use public transport, cycle or carpool to reduce the environmental impact of travel associated with attending sessions.

 

Eco-friendly venues

We partner with venues that promote sustainability and follow eco-friendly practices like waste reduction, energy efficiency, and water conservation.

 

Minimising Waste

We make an effort to reduce waste at our events by using reusable materials, recycling whenever possible, and reducing single-use plastics in our operations.

 

Raising environmental awareness

We encourage our community to adopt eco-friendly practices, both on and off the pitch, such as our campaign to donate pre-loved football equipment to refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.
