What are the games like?

These are casual, pay-as-you-play small-sided games on astro pitches with mixed skill levels, aimed at fun and fitness in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

We currently organise early morning, afternoon and  evening games at Denmark Road Sports Centre, Dixons Brooklands Academy, Levenshulme High School, Parrs Wood High School, Platt Lane (ManCity Academy), Powerleague – Manchester Central, Powerleague Nicholls, Sugden Sports Centre, Ten Acres Lane Sports Complex, Ordsall Leisure Centre, Burnage Rugby Football Club, Hough End Leisure Centre, The Manchester College – Openshaw Campus, Dean Trust Ardwick, Oasis Academy Media City and you can find a full schedule here.

All abilities are welcome to join. The reality is that the more you play, the better you’ll become, so it’s beneficial to make playing football a weekly habit.

It’s small-sided football, so depending on the venue, it could be 5-a-side to 9-a-side and everything in between.

Just need to be over 18. No upper limit, just bring your game!

Astro boots are ideal for these 3G/4G pitches. They provide the right grip and support. Always read the game description for more info

I’ve been hosting football games in Manchester for a while now. Every week I see people turn up who’ve never met before, shake hands and by the end they’re laughing like old friends. It's a really friendly environment. Some players are sharp and play every week. Others haven’t kicked a ball in years and are just giving it a go. Nobody really cares about the level. The point is that people show up, run around and switch off from whatever else they’ve got going on.
